Groceries & Grilling kicks off May 3

Each week, a Findlay Market merchant or vendor will have a themed recipe that he or she will be demoing two times at a newly installed demo kitchen. Shoppers will be provided with a recipe card and a list of ingredients so they can shop beforehand and grill alongside the merchants on satellite grills that will be provided. Findlay Market will provide some of the essentials – grilling tools, plates, napkins, utensils, foil and some spices. Once people finish grilling, they are encouraged to sit with family and friends to enjoy the meal. If grilling onsite doesn’t work for their schedule, the recipes will be available online so they can purchase ingredients at the market and cook at home.

For more information, check it out here.

Learn more about the history

Findlay Market offers free tours of the marketplace, during which you can learn about the history and learn a bit about the merchants there.

Tours take place the second and fourth Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. They take about 30 minutes, and guests meet at the Market Center located at the center of the main market house across from Taste of Belgium. The tour is open to the first 20 people to sign up.
