National Pizza Day is Feb. 9, and that means we need to find some delicious pizza pies in Cincinnati. Take a date and grab a slice. Here is a list of some of our favorite pizzerias in or around Cinci.
Let’s be real, this was a given. Larosa’s Pizzeria opened up in 1954 and has been a staple of Cincinnatians since. From pizza to calzones to hoagies, there’s something for everyone. Thanks, Buddy!
If you haven’t experienced this hole-in-the-wall pizza joint in Newport, you should. Newport Pizza Co. opened up in 2009 and has a selection of specialty pizzas. You can’t get any more Cincinnati than with the Cincinnatus, which basically is a cheese coney on a pizza. Be sure to try the Flying Pig, as well!
Pi Pizzeria [Closed]
You’ve probably seen the giant pi symbol displayed downtown, and 3.14 never looked so yummy! There are deep dish and thin crust options. The pi puns are one of the best things ever. No matter how you add it, Pi Pizzeria is worth a taste.

If you want your own slice of New York City pizza, look no further than Goodfellas Pizzeria in OTR. It’s a two-story restaurant with a bar on each floor. They usually have music playing, so it’s a rockin’ atmosphere. With specialty pizza names like Wiseguy and The Don, you’ll feel like a real gangster.
Riverfront Pizza and Sports Bar
Head on down to Covington for a real treat! Riverfront Pizza and Sports Bar has a delicious selection of pizza pies like the Taco Pizza or The Ranch Pizza. Riverfront also serves sports bar snacks like nachos and chicken wings. You also can get a cool aluminum coke bottle.
