Most of you may not know, but February 22nd is National Margarita Day! Even though it’s the middle of winter, take this holiday as an opportunity to relax as if you’re on a sunny and sandy beach. Or if you’re really craving some good food, we have a list of restaurants you and your sweetheart should check out.
Bakersfield has their own margarita simply called “The Bakersfield Margarita”. That is by no means the only margarita they offer but it’s a good start!
La Mexicana Restaurante Cantina & Tienda offers small, large, and an entire pitcher of margaritas. If you’re looking for some good authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go.
El Rancho Grande has thirteen locations across Cincinnati and Dayton. Not only do they offer Happy Hour everyday from 3-6pm,they also offer Margarita Madness Monday and Tuesday where 20 oz margaritas are only $4.99!
Mazunte is not just a restaurant to find a good margarita but also has its own market so you can try your hand at Mexican cuisine.
Nada offers margaritas on draft and serves a variety of tequila which is perfect for celebrating the holiday.
Los Panchos serves dollar tacos and half price margaritas on Tuesdays which is perfect if you miss National Margarita Day.
El Jinete Mexican Restaurant is famous for their lime margaritas. Get them frozen or on the rocks during happy hour which is 2-6pm every day.
Rancheros offers $2.00 off their margaritas everyday from 3-7pm. Not only do they serve house margaritas, they also have margarita premiums which are served with Gran Marnier and your choice of Don Julio, Patron, 3 Gneraciones, Herradura, or Cabo Wabo Tequila.
La Piñata Mexican Restaurant has a great menu and even their own YouTube page where they discuss tequila and Mexican dishes. Their website also includes a step-by-step guide for the perfect margarita!
Cancun Mexican Resaurant & Cantina kicks it up a notch with their margaronas, a margarita spiked with a bottle of Corona. Margaritas come in four sizes, regular, jumbo, monster, liter, and pitcher and the margaronas only come in jumbo and monster which is plenty for you and your significant other to share a drink!
El Toro Mexican Restaurant not only has margaritas but also offers shots of tequila and even tequila sunrises. Can’t make it on National Margarita Day? They serve Margaritas for $3.99 on Mondays!
El Rancho Nuevo has Happy Hour everyday from 3-6pm with 25% off house margaritas and beer. With six locations, including Fairfield, Mason, West Chester, Liberty Township, and Beckett Ridge, a delicious margarita is always close by!
